Since April 2018, there are widespread massive hacker attacks on video surveillance systems.

At the moment, the equipment of many popular brands, including Hunter, has been and continues to be attacked.

The main symptoms of the attack are:

• Loss of remote access to equipment.
• Spontaneous periodic disconnections of cameras from recorders.
• Blocking the IP address of the DVR by the Internet provider due to sending "spam" from you.
• Full output of the DVR from the system and a black screen or coloured stripes at boot.

If you are a victim of a hacker attack, you must perform the following manipulations:

• In the first three cases, you must immediately disconnect the DVR from the Internet, update the firmware to the latest version, change the standard ports of the 80th and 34567th to any other and set the administrator password (at least 8 characters).
• In the fourth case, you need to contact the service center to restore the DVR.

If the hacker attack did not affect you, it is highly recommended to perform similar manipulations to update the firmware and change the ports and passwords on Your equipment.

We also recommend that you disable the cloud service if you do not use it.
